Privacy policy
This business uses JobLoop to manage bookings, quotes, invoices and payments. This page explains what personal information is kept there and what it's used for.
What we collect
- Your name, phone number, email address and the address where work is done.
- Details of your bookings, quotes, invoices and payments, and notes about the job.
- Photos of completed work at your property, when a technician takes them.
- For staff: login details, hours worked and leave, and location while sharing an "on my way" link.
Card details are entered directly with Square, our payment provider. Card numbers are never stored in JobLoop.
What we use it for
- Booking, carrying out and invoicing work you've asked for.
- Sending booking confirmations, reminders, receipts and updates about your job.
- Occasional service reminders or offers, which you can ask us to stop at any time.
- Keeping the business and tax records the law requires.
Who it's shared with
Your information is not sold. It is shared only with the services needed to run the business: Square (payments), our email and text message providers (to send you messages), Google (address lookup and, where a staff member chooses, their own calendar), and our hosting and database providers. The database is hosted in Australia (Sydney). Some providers may process information overseas.
How it's protected
Information is encrypted in transit and at rest. Only staff accounts can sign in, and access to customer records is limited by role. Links we send you (to a quote, an invoice or your customer page) are private to you: anyone with the link can open it, so keep them to yourself.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the information held about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Invoices and payment records that the law requires a business to keep are retained with your personal details removed. To make a request, reply to any message you've had from us or use the contact details on your quote or invoice.
If you're not satisfied with how a request is handled, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
